AAMCO also performs maintenance on 4-wheel drive systems. What’s the benefit of 4-wheel drive if it’s broken? In order to work properly when they’re needed, 4-wheel drive systems have to be maintained properly. AAMCO will replace all fluids in the transfer case and differentials to ensure that your 4-wheel drive will work when you need it the most.

Factory Maintenance Services
Following the factory maintenance schedule for your vehicle is smart, but servicing it at your dealer isn’t. At AAMCO, we can perform the same services the dealer does at a fraction of the price. Just because your car is out of warranty doesn’t mean you should cut back on maintenance. Performing regular maintenance is cheaper in the long run, and your car will last much longer.
We have services for electrical systems, fuel systems, brake systems, tire rotation, serpentine belt replacement, heating systems and more.
We can even help you track your vehicle maintenance schedule to ensure you always get your car serviced when it needs it.
A/C Services
Air Conditioning is essential to comfortable car rides, and at AAMCO we provide a free check to determine why your air conditioning isn’t working. Sometimes the system needs a simple recharge, but it could also need a new A/C compressor or serpentine belt. Bring your vehicle in and one of our certified technicians will do a thorough inspection and make sure everything is working properly.
Cooling System
Overheating on the road is one of the most common mechanical breakdowns, but most people don’t realize that overheating can irreversibly damage an engine and can cause the cooling system to cease functioning properly.
Most drivers don’t realize that maintaining the cooling system regularly will extend the life of their vehicle, and most car manufacturers recommend flushing the radiator and changing the coolant every two years.
If your vehicle has recently overheated, the temperature gauge is reading high or if your heater doesn’t work, come to any AAMCO of Puget Sound and we’ll perform the services necessary to keep your car running cool.
We’ll check your radiator, thermostat, water pump, fan belt, temperature sensor and heater core. Avoid costly fixes like a head gasket repair with simple cooling maintenance from AAMCO – we’ll keep your car going strong.
Tune-Up
In the age of $4-per-gallon gasoline, you want to maximize the range you get out of a tank of gas. Basic tune-ups are an easy way to make sure you’re getting the best gas mileage out of your car as possible. At all of your Puget Sound AAMCOs, we adjust the spark and timing on your engine to make sure the air/fuel mixture is as lean as possible. If your car is getting worse gas mileage than usual, or you just want to maximize your vehicle’s fuel efficiency, AAMCO has you covered.
Exhaust
If your exhaust is rattling, making noise or your car didn’t pass emissions, AAMCO has the service for you. Your car’s exhaust system should be checked once a year to ensure that it’s functioning properly.
A broken exhaust system is dangerous because gases like carbon monoxide can make it into the passenger cabin. AAMCO checks everything from the exhaust manifold to the tail pipe, and ensures your vehicle’s exhaust system is quiet, safe and eco-friendly.
Shocks and Struts
To most people, the suspension on their car is what keeps it smooth on the road. The truth is, your suspension keeps your car in control while you drive. A worn-out suspension can result in longer stopping distances, your vehicle swerving while changing lanes or bottoming out.
You should have your suspension checked out at least once a year. Let AAMCO get your car back into top running condition. Our technicians will examine everything and repair your suspension to get you back on the road quickly and safely.
